The ideal candidate will have:

• more than 6 years of experience in software development;
• more than 4 years of experience as a consultant on business systems;
• the ability to effectively communicate with business process owners;
• the ability to identify and articulate opportunities for business process improvement;
• working knowledge of standard design patterns and architectures;
• fluency in UML and the UML process;
• developed business solutions on mulitple platforms;
• at least one industry-recognized developer-oriented certification, such as:
  • Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform,
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
  • Oracle certification
  • DB2 UDB certification
  • etc.

• proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or DB2 UDB;
• solid knowledge of PL/SQL or T-SQL;
• solid knowledge of JSP, Servlet, JNDI, JMS, and EJB technology; or
• solid knowledge of the .NET Framework, VB.NET and/or C#, ASP.NET.
